The ERDI LASER LR1200D23 Series Laser Ranging Module is a new-generation, high-precision, compact distance measurement solution built for demanding applications. Operating at a 905 nm laser wavelength, it delivers reliable ranging from approximately 13 ft to 3,937 ft (4 m to 1,200 m) with a typical accuracy of ±1 m and a resolution of just 10 cm. The module features a resin aspheric lens, a 20 mm receiver aperture, and a ranging frequency of 2–10 Hz, with a valid measurement rate of ≥98% and a false alarm rate of ≤1%. Weighing only about 0.7 oz (≈20 g) and measuring Ø23 mm × 45.6 mm, it is impressively compact and lightweight. It supports single measurement, continuous measurement, and optional angle measurement modes via a UART-TTL interface at 115200 bps. Operating temperatures range from -4°F to +131°F (-20°C to +55°C). Ideal for night vision devices, thermal imagers, telescopes, perimeter security, aviation, law enforcement, and outdoor sports applications. The lens cavity carries an IP67 protection rating, and the module meets IEC Class 1 laser safety standards.
